In early October our Under 8's and Under 10's we travelled to Newcestown for an away Biltz and it was a hugely successful event for the club. At Under 8 level we fielded two teams whose matches ran simultaneously. At Under 10 level we fielded one team who played a very competitive match against an experienced Newcestown team and was just narrowly defeated. The huge support received on the morning from parents and supporters was very much appreciated and it was an enjoyable trip away for all involved.

 

Also in October our Under 12 and Under 14 teams played a Blitz against the Bantry Blues in St. Colum's. The matches ran off simultaneously on a bright cold evening. The Under 12's played a great game which was very evenly contested throughout and it ended all even. The Under 14's played a fantastic game, controlled possession and the scoreboard and were rewarded with a great win with the final score 3.2 to 1.2 to St. Colums. Well Done to all involved and a special thanks to the parents and supporters who came along, all support is very much appreciated.
