In October also our Under 8's had a Blitz against our counterparts and friends in Naomh Colum Óg at St Colums Pitch. We would like to say thank you to Tom Farley and Rory Doody Naomh Colum Óg trainers for extending the invitation and hosting us so well on the morning. Two matches were held simultaneously with Under 7's taking to one pitch and the Under 8's on the other. The rain held off and two very competitive matches were held. Afterwards as an end of season event Tom and Rory got the parents and supporters to take to the field in a male v female contest - and I think it was decided that the ladies shaded that contest! Then there was lovely pizza and chips in the hall - thanks to Stephen and all at the Brick Oven for such a feast!
